你的故事
Your story

My story is plain and usual. I was born in small, polish, mountain settlement in the eighties, during soviet occupation. Just before Chernobyl disaster. My powers actually come from the Toxic Cloud, that was visiting my town when I was young, so I started to realize pretty early, that I became an Artist. I think, it was when I was 1 or 2 years old. I made few nice pieces back then. Unfortunately all those fantastic artworks got lost after the martial law was introduced in my country. Also it wasn't so easy with diapers in that time. But, communism finally ended and I could start my speedy capitalism education. There was a hell of a competition in kindergarten, many broken crayons and bones, but finally, this harsh environment prepared me for what future held – a cold world of business. After graduating from kindergarten (kMBA), I took no further education in art. Though I discovered my sport superpowers. I was one of the best soccer players in my village so in my early days I needed to fight for my teams honor. By loosing games for as little goals as possible. I won few “best defense” medals made of potato and decided that I achieved all that could be achieved in worldwide sports. I moved on. I studied architecture for few years, but Polish educational system put a lot effort to make architecture college as boring as possible, so after designing bunch of skyscrapers I quit and started to work in the Industry as an Artist. It was pretty comfortable. I learned a lot there, though after few years I woke up, looked into mirror and saw some changes on my face. I was suspecting that this very day, but it took few greatest minds on this planet to confirm my state. I was transforming. I became an Illustrator. Since then nothing is the same for me.

What does art and design means to you?

Art. For me it's just making something out of nothing and feeling good about it.Design. Not seen a lot in Poland, though I heard, it's making something look good and being useful. People say that design is smart. Futurologists claim that design will be available in Poland around year 2150.

你會怎樣形容你的個人風格?
How would you define your personal style?

It is common knowledge that in Poland, there is largest concentration of experts per cubic meter. Unfortunately I'm not one of them. I'm not an Art Expert so my description might be vague. I just want to make my illustrations funny, but they are often sad, crying when left alone, especially when they didn't came out as nice as planned and I sent them to bed without supper, so they could think about this behavior. On one hand I try to draw in my own, unique style, like every living artist out there, but then you can see, that I'm inspired by those foreign comic book artists, you know, those French and Belgian guys who eat only cheese, clams and drink wine and beer for breakfast. Then there are some lines and colors. Art stuff. Perspective. Anatomy. Rhythm. Fanciness. I call this style – “Wczesny Dziekan”. The Early Dean style.

你的創作過程是怎樣的?你通常會用甚麼工具及材料?What is the process of your work? What kind of materials do you use?

It's not real work. It's just all made digitally on this fancy Wacom Cintiq. You press one button and computer does the rest for you in this Photoshop software. Simple as that! Actually, you can find some process on my blog, so you will see on your own eyes. Man. Technology!

你是如何獲取創作靈感?
How do you get your inspiration?

I wake very early. Just before going to sleep. Then I climb the highest mountain in the area. I sit there silently waiting for the sun to rise. I'm listening to the silence of night. Whimsy whispers of nature. I can see the slightest light of the sun. Glowing ball of fire being born again in magical rhythm of life and death. I can hear pulse of the world. Waking birds. Dancing grass. Mating deers. I try to find the everlast balance there. I slowly close my eyes.

And then I pull out my smart phone and surf over the Internet, checking out all those weird people. It's pretty funny what you can find when you just observe humans. Humans, my biggest inspiration.

你的夢想是?
What s your dream?

I mostly dream about two things. One- to have this small teleport in throat, that you could activate it while eating, so you could feel the taste of the food, but keep the food from going into your stomach. A pleasure of eating without getting fat! And second one - people being nice to each other, peace all over the earth etc. usual stuff of a guy who would like to live on a different planet.

在你的人生及創作路上的座右銘?
What is your motto in your work and life?
